Description[]

The Shura Storyteller is the old maid who inhabits the fortress just before the gate of Ashina Castle.

After Gyoubu is defeated, she'll warn Wolf that the fires of war have not quenched and that soon more death will infest Ashina.

As Ashina Castle is raided by the Shinoby Army of the Interior Ministry, she predicts that a demon will be born from the upcoming battle between the Ashina and the Central Forces.

Once Wolf kills the Demon of Hatred, the Shura Storyteller will ask the shinobi if he knew who that creature really was, admonishing him to not walk the path of the flames of hatred.

Dialogue
First encounter Shura Storyteller: Oh...? You survived? That accursed Gyoubu's finally a corpse, I take it? That changes nothing, you know. There'll be more wars, there'll be more corpses, and deep-seated hatred will run wild. Where's all that hatred go? Haven't you ever wondered? Guess not. Guess you haven't. That's why I pity you, and I pitied him.
Speaking again Shura Storyteller: Now then, be gone already. There's no end to war, no matter what this old hag says. Your duties will never change either. That's just how it is.
After Ashina Castle is invaded for the first time Shura Storyteller: You want something? If not, be gone. ...War is on the horizon. A dreadful one at that. The dead will rise as mountains, the hate will flow like an inferno... It will give birth to a demon, I'm certain of it. Now then, be gone already. I doubt you'd want to meet a demon, would you?
After defeating Demon of Hatred Shura Storyteller: Oh...? You survived? ... You know, don't you? You know who the one-armed demon was before...
If Wolf hasn't recognized the Sculptor Wolf: No...

Shura Storyteller: (Hmph...) I see. It might be better that way. What a fate, to be set ablaze in the fires of hatred and suffer eternally as a demon... You put an end to his misery. That's all it was.

If Wolf has recognized the Sculptor Wolf: Yes...

Shura Storyteller: (Hmph...) Then you know there's no reason to lose heart. To carve and sculpt buddhas for so long, only to be wreathed in the flames of hatred and turn into a demon... It was the fate he made for himself, to pay for his own mistakes. And you put an end to that. You sent him on his way. ... I'm sure he's grateful for that...

Speaking Shura Storyteller: ... Some advice. The hatred he channeled has lost its vessel for now. The longer the fires of war rage on, the more ashen this world will become. ... That does not mean you should step into his place.
Speaking Again Shura Storyteller: Now then, be gone already. You have your duties... Things you must accomplish, yes?
