Senpou Temple, Mt. Kongo

Senpou Temple is a temple in the Mt. Kongo region. It is home to some monks who have been corrupted by their obsession with the undying.

The elevator from the Bottomless Hole leads to a path to the temple is lined with cliffs and patrolled by Monks.

The voice of the Divine Child warns against those who wish to enter.

Shugendo, Temple Grounds

Corrupted monks patrol the road leading up the Main Hall and to the Bell Demon's Temple.

Also accessible by a secret shinobi door that opens up in the cave of the Headless in Ashina Outskirts.

	Monkey Booze On a statue in the small building, reached from where the Pure White Pinwheel is located.
	Black Gunpowder In the small building leading to the Bell Demon's Temple, reached from where the Pure White Pinwheel is located. Three in the room of Long-Arm Centipede Sen'un.
	Bell Demon Acquired by ringing the bell atop the Bell Demon's Temple. Having the demon bestows "Sinister Burden" onto Wolf, increasing the damage done by enemies, while also increasing the rewards for defeating them.
	Scrap Magnetite Right next to the Temple Grounds Sculptor's Idol after the Armoured Knight.
	Gokan's Sugar Found in the Temple Grounds by a set of stairs leading down by the Dogs, to the right. In the room of Long-Arm Centipede Sen'un.

Halls of Illusion

An illusory world, protected by the Folding Screen Monkeys to hide the Divine Child of Rejuvenation.

There are four notable locations in the area:

• Abyss Hall: "Below is an abyss. The bottom cannot be seen. Above is darkness. Nothing can be seen."
• Deafening Bell: "This bell is deafening. Ringing it recklessly will also make your ears ring."
• Light Hall: "A bare flame in the wind. When it goes out, the place becomes dark as night."
• Roaring Hall: "The noise of the Roaring Waterfall is deafening. Surely no one can hear anything else in here."

Main Hall, Inner Sanctum and Cave

The key building of the temple, which houses the Inner Sanctum, where the Divine Child of Rejuvenation resides.

Next to the Hall is a dark cave where the High Priest of Senpou Temple sits in immortal eternity, petrified and uncaring, surrounded by Lesser Centipedes.

Trivia

• Senpou Temple is referred to as 「八葉寺」 (Hachiyouji Temple) in cut dialogue, which is a real world temple located in Fukushima, Japan while Mount Kongo「金剛山」, where Senpou Temple is located in-game is a real world location in Osaka, Japan.
  • While the two locations both seem to be inspired by real world locations, the temple and the mountain are located over 700km away from each other.
