Sekiro Side Story: Hanbei the Undying (SEKIRO 外伝 死なず半兵衛) is a Japanese manga series based on the Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice game by FromSoftware. The manga is drawn by Shin Yamamoto under the supervision of FromSoftware. It was serialized in Kodakawa's Comic Walker web comic service in 2019.

Sekiro wakes up from death during the fight with the Guardian Ape (second phase), and quickly prepares to use the Flame Vent against the charging ape. He then faces Gyoubu Masataka Oniwa, Lady Butterfly, Genichiro Ashina, Owl and Isshin Ashina.
Characters[]
- Hanbei the Undying: An elderly samurai who is "immortal" or "infested". He has no real name, but gets known as Hanbei the Undying.
- Shoukichi: A young man who lives in a village in the mountains of Ashina. He interacts with Hanbei when he appears in the village.
- Suzu: Shoukichi's older sister. She is a widow who lives with Shoukichi and her son Choukichi.
- Choukichi: A young boy and son of Suzu.
- Yamahito: A man raised by monkeys living in the mountains. He was turned into a red eye by Doujun.
- Hirachika Takamine: The lord of the Takamine clan, which has existed for nearly 200 years, and a member of the Ashina clan. He was once a fierce general known as "Takamine the Spear", but he was wounded in a battle with Hanbei during the war and fell into ruin.
- Kodou Takamine: The son of Hirachika Takamine. He is a skilled swordsman who is a master of Ashina Sword Style.
- Tamura Shuzen: A military commander. He learned of the existence of "immortality" when he cut down the young and nameless Hanbei, and recruited him into his own staff. He is later defeated by Isshin Ashina and dies in battle.
- Isshin Ashina: A legendary warrior, attaining the title of "Sword Saint", and the founder of the Ashina Clan.
- Doujun: A researcher who conducts inhuman experiments in the name of finding "immortality".
