Seed from which healing waters continuously spring forth. Give to Emma to increase the maximum uses of the Healing Gourd.

The twisted gourd of medicinal waters was known throughout Ashina since long ago, but it was the extraordinary healer Dogen and his pupil Emma who discovered the self-replenishing nature of this seed.

Ashina Outskirts	Dropped by General Naomori Kawarada, past the Outskirts Wall - Gate Path Idol In the building after the Chained Ogre, past the Outskirts Wall - Stairway Idol One sold by the Battlefield Memorial Mob for 1000 1000, next to the pagoda in which the Tengu of Ashina resides in, after defeating Gyoubu Masataka Oniwa. One sold by Fujioka the Info Broker for 2000 2000, after moving to the Dilapidated Temple.
Ashina Castle	Found just before the Upper Tower - Antechamber Idol in a chest.
Senpou Temple	Found in front of the first Immortal Monk encountered in the Senpou Temple, in the first building that's filled with Crickets.
Sunken Valley	From the Under-Shrine Valley Idol, progressing forward and after encountering the fourth rifleman on the path, climbing up the wall on the left, found in a small hut.
Ashina Depths	In the centre of Mibu Village, by the orange glowing tree.
Fountainhead Palace	In a chest in the last room of the palace by the Palace Grounds Sculptor's Idol.

Given to Emma to upgrade the Healing Gourd's capacity and healing effects.

There are a total of nine seeds.

Notes[]

If Wolf chooses to "obey the iron code" at Owl's request, it won't be possible to give Emma any Seed for the rest of the playthrough nor to reach the last Seed in the Fountainhead Palace.

As the final invasion of Ashina Castle and Outskirt by the Central Forces is triggered, General Naomori Kawarada will disappear for the rest of the playthrough. However, the Gourd Seed that he would have dropped will still be available in the Offering Box next to Hanbei for 2400 2400 and the Prayer Bead for 2200 2200.
