While they are perceptive, it is possible to perform a Stealth Deathblow on most Brown nightjar. Using nearby rooftops, grapple and climb to an area some distance behind the enemy, then sneak up on them to perform the deathblow.

However, there are some nightjar who cannot be snuck around. In such situations, it is helpful to make frequent use of the Chasing Slice ability in combination with the Loaded Shuriken prosthetic. This will help mitigate the nightjar's mobility, which can prove problematic. in many cases, it is possible to corner these enemies and attack them repeatedly. this will prevent them from performing any attacks, effectively ending the fight.

  • Leaping Whirlwind: leaps backwards for a brief moment, then he lunges forwards spinning the weapon.
  • Twin Cyclones: hops to the left then spins his weapon twice before leaping backwards.
  • Whirlwind: hops to the right then spins the weapon, and may follow up with Overhead Cut and a spin.
  • Overhead Cut: spins in the air then comes crashing down with a cut. When the target is too far away, he spins directly at him and does this attack twice.
