Cannoneers are a normal enemy in Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice. They are most commonly found in Ashina Outskirts and Ashina Castle.
Overview
A bandaged man holding a hand cannon. The first one is encountered on the way to the Gates of Ashina Castle, just before the Outskirts Wall - Stairway Sculptor's Idol.
Behaviour and Tactics[]
- Cannon Shot: crouches while holding the cannon and shooting an explosive projectile.
- Cannon Swing: swings the cannon in a wide angle
- Upperhead Bash: lifts the cannon then slams it on the ground in front of himself, following up with a quick shot.
The explosive projectiles deal a lot of damage and it is advisable to stay in close range. When he does his Upperhead Bash attack, dodge behind him for a few free hits. He will also reload his cannon after every few shots, rendering him vulnerable to attacks.
