Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice Wiki

In-Game Description[]

A demonic spirit sealed within the Iron Bell of Senpou Temple.

Possesses those who ring the bell, strengthening enemies around them.
The Bell Demon confers hardship, but perhaps also slightly better spoils.
Using this item has no particular effect aside from causing the demon to leave.

Availability[]

Acquired by ringing the bell atop the Bell Demon's Temple in Senpou Temple, Mt. Kongo.

Overview[]

Dismisses the demon and undone its curse.

Having the demon bestows "Sinister Burden" onto Wolf, which increases the damage done by enemies, while also increasing the rewards for defeating them.

The "Sinister Burden" doesn't increase nor the quantity of Experience nor of Sens dropped by enemies.

Since the "Sinister Burden" only affects the item drop rate of enemies and, therefore, has no positive effect on Bosses and Mini-Bosses, it can be used for farming upgrades and then dispelled before a major fight.

Notes[]

  • The "Sinister Burden" is automatically removed upon entering a New Game Cycle.
