In-Game Description

From a sheathed stance, draw the blade at high speed. Costs Spirit Emblems to use. Hold the stance to intercept at will. A secret technique of the Ashina style, devoted to the mastery of a swift kill. Draws a cruciform cut in the blink of an eye; so fast it could sever the arm of Shura, or so boasts Isshin Ashina.

• Unlocked by the Ashina Esoteric Text.

Overview

The final Combat Art of the Ashina Arts tree.

It requires 55 Skill Points to unlock and a total of 11 Skill Points to become available.

Consumes 2 2 Spirit Emblems upon use (can be used even without Spirit Emblems, but the damage output will be reduced).

Causes a great deal of damage, being able to kill weaker enemies like Ashina Soldiers in one hit, and can't be fully blocked.

Ability

(HOLD GUARD + ATTACK) Enter Sheathed Stance: Enter the sheathed battle stance.

(Release GUARD) Cancel Sheathed Stance: Leave sheathed battle stance.

(Release ATTACK) Ashina Cross: Draw your sword from its sheath and slice in a cross pattern at high speed. Costs 2 2 Spirit Emblems to use.

Trivia

• This move is used by Ashina Elite - Jinsuke Saze and Ashina Elite - Ujinari Mizuo.
• The description makes reference of that time Isshin Ashina cut off the Sculptor's left arm to prevent his transformation into a Shura.
